The following are our current training service opportunities. Please contact us if you would like to discuss one of your specific requirements.
Training courses
Jill Webb Training has long experience of training staff in various areas. Courses are delivered by our Senior Director, Jill Webb, or by other highly experienced trainers from our associate team.
We offer a wide range of both open courses (available to individuals) and courses delivered for specific organisations.
Safeguarding courses
The courses on offer include:
- Safeguarding Level 2 (CPD Certified)
- Advanced Safeguarding Level 3 (CPD Certified)
- Managing Allegations
- Management of Safeguarding including the role of the Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Self Harm
- Safer Caring
- Governance of Safeguarding
- Safer Recruitment in Practice
- Developing as a Safeguarding Practitioner
- Professional boundaries
- Designated Safeguarding Lead
These can be offered face to face, as an interactive session on Zoom or a mixture of the two options.
Current courses
The Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People and Adults at Risk (RQF) is intended for those who are working with children, young people and adults at risk, including volunteers.

- First Aid – one day Emergency First Aid at Work and full First Aid at Work
- Paediatric First Aid
- Food Safety Level 2
- Allergen awareness

- First Aid Refresher courses
In this day and age, ensuring that any organisation, from a few volunteers running a local service to a multimillion pound business, meets the legal requirements for health and safety is a vital compliance issue. We can assist with this by offering various compliance courses.

Current courses
Working With Parents Level 4
This is an advanced course suitable for staff or volunteers who work with parents; eg a family support or early intervention worker. This Course is for practitioners with knowledge and understanding around their roles who wish to develop their practice through reflection and research. The Course requires learners to have safeguarding knowledge and an understanding of child development as a pre-requisite for the Course. Learners will develop an appreciation of what reflective practice it and how this can help them to develop. This is supported by exploring how effective partnership with parents are developed and sustained.
Food safety
Includes:
- Understand how individuals can take personal responsibility for food safety
- Understand the importance of food handlers keeping themselves clean and hygienic
- Understand the importance of keeping work areas clean and hygienic
- Identify the importance of keeping food products safe.

Level 2 Food Safety
By the end of the course learners will be able to:
- Understand how individuals can take personal responsibility for food safety
- Understand the importance of food handlers keeping themselves clean and hygienic
- Understand the importance of keeping work areas clean and hygienic
- Identify the importance of keeping food products safe.
It is very popular with learners as there is no end of course exam as the assessment is continuous throughout the course. Assessment is via a portfolio which you build as the course progresses.
So if you HATE exams and don’t like on line learning…this is the course for you – get the qualification in a day!
